Mitsubishi Motors is a Japan-based multinational automotive manufacturer founded in April 1970. It was the sixth-largest Japanese automaker and the nineteenth-largest manufacturer worldwide by production in 2011. The American automobile manufacturer Nissan owned one-third of this company from October 2016. Thus, it became a part of the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi alliance.

MI-PILOT uses cameras and radar to control brakes, steering and acceleration.
